"Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation. A tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation." (Isaiah 28:16:)
Abraham "looked for a city which had foundations and whose builder and maker was God" (Hebrews 11:10).

Connected Ministries
This page will tell you about our outreach ministries that we are involved with. Heather Simpson heads both Women's Aglow and Inspire ministries and they are a vital aspect of outreach to the people in the Buchan area and beyond.

Formerly 'Women's Aglow' this movement was founded in 1967 as an outreach to Christian women who needed encouragement and equipping that they were not receiving in their own churches but also as an outreach to those women who did not yet know the Lord. It has grown exponentially over the years and has gone through some course changes, the latest being the dropping of the overall title of ‘Women’s Aglow’ to ‘Aglow International’ which has many outreaches and added ministries such as Slavery and Sex trafficking.
It still has separate meetings for women but now has also introduced the men’s equivalent, called ‘Men of Isachaar’.

Like Women’s Aglow, Men of Isachaar aims to reach out to men who do not yet know the Lord through testimonies and fellowship. Also, it aims to build up and encourage Christian men in their walk with Christ.

Inspire
Inspire was started and is led by Heather Simpson and Pat Christofferson. Their vision was for an outreach to give Christians in the area an opportunity to take family, friends and neighbours to a place where they can enjoy fellowship and hear testimonies of those who experienced the transforming power of the gospel and potentially experience this for themselves. In addition, everyone at the meeting has opportunity to receive prayer for healing or whatever they may need or simply to ask any questions they may have to the speaker or other members of Inspire. Inspire also holds an annual BBQ where everyone can come along and enjoy good food and music as well as chat informally with believers in a non-threatening and relaxing atmosphere.
